Grading Policy
Grades will reflect student ability and effort. Grades are taken frequently from such sources as work completed in class, homework assignments, tests and quizzes.
* All assignments are to be handed in on time and completely finished.
* Homework reviewed or checked in class—earns points for completion. This encourages students to try every problem.
* Quizzes may be given to check student progress and knowledge of new
material.
* Grades from tests have a higher point value. Please help your child to study for any upcoming tests.
GRADING SCALE:
A = 100% - 92%
B = 91% - 85%
C = 84% - 73%
D = 72% - 65%
E = Below 65%
Grades are sent home in the report card which is given out at the end of each
quarter. You are encouraged to view your child's progress at anytime on the schools Skyward system. The envelopes need to be signed and returned to school.
